For instance, it will feature the lauded MyFord Touch as well as a MyFord Mobile information systems, and the vehicle will be able to recharge up to 30 miles on its battery within the first 30 minutes of being plugged in. The 2012 Ford Focus EV is able to pack such impressive stats because it features a 23 kW lithium-ion battery pack, connected to 130 horsepower motor under its hood. This also allows the Ford Focus EV to reach a top speed of around 80 miles per hour, while staying temperate with its  liquid cooling and heating thermal management system.
